Jaime Vera is a Professor in HIV Medicine at the Department of Global Health and Infection, Brighton and Sussex Medical School. He is also the clinical lead physician for the combined HIV and memory clinic in Brighton. Jaime’s research focusses on the study of comorbidities affecting people with HIV such as cognitive impairment and frailty including the development of innovative models of care aimed at improving quality of life, and mental well-being of older people with HIV in both low and high-income settings.
