How do I register for the virtual symposium?

You can register online on the symposium website.

Remember that the email address provided will be your identification as a user to access the sessions.

Can I register for only one of the symposium days or for a specific session?

No, only full symposium registrations are possible.

What do I need in order to attend the virtual symposium?

To attend the virtual symposium, you need a good internet connection, a device with internet connection (computer, laptop, tablet/iPad, smartphone) and a valid registration. To have a greater stability in the connection, please connecting via wire; do not do it via WiFi.

A few days before to the Symposium, you will receive by email the connection details to attendance.

What if my WIFI crashes in the middle of a session?

Don’t worry. All sessions will be recorded and will be available from registered attendees from June 15 to July 15, 2024.

Can I download the slides from the sessions?

No, the slides from the session presentations cannot be downloaded, but you will be able to watch the oral presentations where the slides are being shown.

How can I apply the accreditation CME?

The 17th International Symposium on Neuropsychiatry and HIV has been designated wih 8,5 credits CME (ECMEC®s).  Medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

To get the certificate for your participation, you must fill in the Symposium evaluation form.

Once ther form is completed, the system will award your attendance certificate with or without credits depending on your attendance to the symposium.
