Carme Carrion, PhD, is a Serra Húnter Associate Professor at the University of Girona (UdG) and Lead of the eHealth Lab Research Group (UOC-UdG). With a multidisciplinary background—including a PhD in Biochemistry and Master’s degrees in Biotechnology, Conflictology, and Planetary Health—her work bridges health sciences and technology. Previously, she was a Senior Researcher at AQuAS, leading clinical practice guidelines and decision support systems and Associate Professor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), where she was responsible for launching the Master’s in digital health at the School of Health Sciences, a designated WHO Collaborating Centre.
