Dr. Neus Falgàs is a neurologist at the Hospital Clínic Barcelona, where she works in the Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Cognitive Disorders Unit. She completed her neurology residency at Hospital Clínic (2016) and earned her PhD from the University of Barcelona with a thesis on early-onset Alzheimer’s disease that was awarded by the Spanish Society of Neurology. Dr. Falgàs continued her training as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco (2019-2021), focusing on sleep-wake alterations in neurodegenerative diseases. Her research centers on improving early diagnosis and understanding neuropsychiatric and sleep-related symptoms in Alzheimer’s disease, integrating clinical expertise with translational research. She also holds master’s degrees in Healthcare Management and Research Design and serves in leadership roles within national and international neurology groups.
