Dr. Casado has been extensively involved in the care of patients with HIV infection since the beginning of his work. He is a regular collaborator of the main scientific societies in the elaboration of recommendations on clinical aspects of HIV/AIDS infection, including antiretroviral treatment, adherence to treatment, studies of resistance or prophylaxis and treatment of opportunistic infections.
